Terms of Service

Personal Drive Mount · Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Scope

Personal Drive Mount is a private, single-user tool operated by its owner for the purpose of accessing the owner's own Google Drive account. These terms apply to that single use.

2. No service is offered to third parties

The application is not distributed, licensed, sold or made available to any other person. No accounts are created, no subscriptions are offered, and no support obligations exist towards anyone other than the owner.

3. Acceptable use

The application is used only to access the Drive account of the person who authorised it, and only in compliance with Google's terms and applicable law.

4. Third-party software and services

The application uses rclone, which is licensed under the MIT licence, and the Google Drive API, which is governed by Google's own terms of service. Those terms apply to their respective components.

5. No warranty

The application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The owner accepts that they use it at their own risk, including the risk of data loss, and is responsible for keeping independent backups of anything important.

6. Limitation of liability

As the application has a single user, who is also its operator, no liability is assumed towards any third party.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. The current version will always be published on this page.
